PFLAG Dorset Scholarships

Each spring, PFLAG Dorset awards scholarships/toolships* to graduating high school seniors from Vermont who have shown, through their actions and example, support and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

** Toolships are financial resources that help career-bound students defray the cost of tools, equipment, uniforms, certifications/licenses, or other trade-related expenses, whereas Scholarships provide financial resources to college-bound students to assist with books, room, board, or tuition. We encourage both career-bound and college-bound students to apply.

The application for the 2027 PFLAG Dorset Scholarships will be available in December 2026. Please check back here at that time for the online Scholarship Application, which must be completed, PRINTED, and given to the student's Guidance Counselor by Friday, March 19, 2027.

In the meantime, here's a Sample Scholarship Application to familarize yourself with what will be asked of you when you apply.

If you have any questions, please email us.
